Recently donned by the loveliest, Anne Nolan at Medjugorje Conference May 2013 in Notre Dame, Indiana, my simple design (innovated with a vintage tablecloth as the fabric) creates an original expression of my style. I devised this skirt pattern with the intention of recycling vintage linens that were damaged, torn, and stained. The skirt’s simple looking box pleat at the center front and a triangle for side panels allow the colorful pattern of the vintage fabric to flow. Ultimately creating a higher skirt front hemline with lowered back. The back side of the skirt is one continuous panel. The waistband is an easy black elastic band that stretches so to fit the waist snugly and then can be styled with any black heel or sandal. Look at a few new ones here.
It is a perfect joy to see this moment where she stands out in a group looking beautiful and confident in one of my designs! Are you kidding? This is definitely one of my high times in 2013.
ps: I barely recognized the big guy on the right!!
